This Pizza Soup is completely customizable to your liking.
My family likes Supreme Pizza, so it makes sense to put all the supreme toppings in our soup, but I have one daughter who does not like Italian Sausage.
When I make it next time, I’ll serve the sausage on the side so she won’t have to have it in her soup. A couple of my kids don’t like mushrooms … I let them just pick them out, which they’re willing to do.
I wanted to add olives to our soup, but it turned out that we didn’t have any in the pantry. Next time, I’ll for sure make sure we have olives.

How to Make Instant Pot Keto Supreme Pizza Soup
I prefer making soups in the Instant Pot because it takes something that might take hours and turns it into minutes. Most of us moms don’t have a ton of free time. Am I Right?
With the Instant Pot, you can impart the deep, rich flavor that comes from a long simmer on the stovetop in 1/4 of the time. That’s a win in my book! I’m always grateful for a shortcut.
If you haven’t picked up your own Instant Pot yet, head over here and grab the one I use.
Start by preparing all your ingredients:
- Cut the onion, mushrooms, red pepper
- Mince the garlic
- Slice the pepperoni in half
Next, Start Cooking
You can saute the Italian Sausage, Onion, and Garlic right in the Instant Pot liner until the sausage is nicely browned and the onion is soft.

Next, add the Crushed Tomatoes, Chicken Broth, Mushrooms, Red Pepper, Pepperoni, Italian Seasoning, Pepper, Salt, and optional Red Pepper Flakes.

Use the manual setting for 5 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then release the rest of the pressure.
Right before serving, stir in the cream. Then serve. Add cheese to each individual bowl.
Making Keto Pizza Soup in the Slow Cooker
When you make the Keto Pizza Soup in the Slow Cooker, you need to start by sauteeing the raw meat, onion, and garlic in a saute pan.
Once it is nicely browned, transfer the ingredients to your crockpot liner.
Add the rest of the ingredients (except the cream and cheese). Let it cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
Right before serving, stir in the cream. Then serve. Add cheese to each individual bowl.
Making Keto Pizza Soup on the Stovetop
Saute the Italian Sausage, Onion, and Garlic until the sausage is nicely browned and the onion is soft.
Next, add the Crushed Tomatoes, Chicken Broth, Mushrooms, Red Pepper, Pepperoni, Italian Seasoning, Pepper, Salt, and optional Red Pepper Flakes.
Bring it to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
Take it off the heat, let it sit for 10 minutes, then stir in the cream and serve.
Add cheese to each individual bowl.

Keto Instant Pot Supreme Pizza Soup

A warm comforting soup that you can make with your favorite pizza toppings.
- 1 Onion (Diced)
- 5 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1 lb. Italian Sausage
- 1 can Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz.)
- 3 cups Chicken Broth
- 8 oz. Mushrooms (Sliced)
- 1 Red Bell Pepper (Diced)
- 3 oz. Pepperoni (Cut in Half)
- 2 t. Italian Seasoning
- ½ t. Pepper
- 1 t. Salt
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
- 1 ½ cups Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)
- Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)
Saute Italian Sausage, Onion, and Garlic in Instant Pot Liner
Add Crushed Tomatoes, Chicken Broth, Sliced Mushrooms, Diced Red Pepper, Sliced Pepperoni, Italian Seasoning, Black Pepper, Salt, and optional Crushed Red Pepper Flakes.
Cook with Manual Setting for 5 Minutes.
After a 10 Minute Natural Release, use the Quick Release function until the Instant Pot will open.
Stir in the Heavy Cream, then serve. Top with Mozzarella Cheese.
