Things That Make My Life Easier
In The Kitchen
Instant Pot — Everyone that knows me, knows how much I love my Instant Pot. I’m constantly using it to help save me time. Read this post for more details about that: 5 Instant Pot Tips To Save You Time. I also went through a great class, Electric Pressure Cooking 101 by Erin from MyFreezEasy and it had so much information and included some great recipes. It’s an amazing value, too at only $16.00.
MyFreezEasy – I love using these meal plans, especially when I get a great deal on chicken breasts or ground beef. I can look up the meal plan through the app right at the store and grab whatever extra ingredients I need. I load my freezer with handy meals in no time at all – and I’ve saved a ton of money. We even put these together as a family, you can read all about our experience by reading Why You Need A Freezer Meal Plan.
Shopping
Amazon Prime – I absolutely love Amazon. I have always had a household full of children, so getting out to go shopping for household items, and especially gifts for friends and family, was such a drag. Do you know what it’s like to run into Target or Toys R Us for a friend’s birthday gift with 4 kids in tow? It is N U T S! I frequently found myself having to shop late in the evening, just to be alone. Now I have Amazon. Any time of the day I can hop on, find what I need and be done with it. I can even ship directly to somebody across the country and skip the Post Office, too. Amazon, you’re my best friend!
Ebates – When I’m buying anything online, I always look at Ebates first. They have discounts at so many different stores, I can always find what I need. Frequently, they not only have a link to the store but also have promo codes for additional savings or free shipping. Another awesome thing is that they cut me an actual check. I’ve earned nearly $100 already and have only been a member since December. Just click the button below and sign up for FREE. You definitely want to be signed up before the holidays for huge savings.
Ibotta – I started using this app in December and have already racked up over $100 in my account. I’m hoping to use it all year, then cash out in November for Gift Cards to use for Christmas. If you sign up through my link you’ll get a $10.00 welcome bonus. Yay!! Free Money, who wants to miss that?
Checkout 51 – This is another grocery rebate app. It is very easy to use and I’m racking up money in my account on rebates for items I use all the time. I currently have $26.00 in my account.
Zaycon Fresh – Buying my meats in bulk saves me loads of time and money, too. With Zaycon I know I’m getting high quality food to feed my family and I’m keeping money in my wallet. You will love it if you give it a try. If you sign up for their emails you’ll get notified when they have something on sale – which really makes it a great value.
Grocery Budget Makeover – Learning how to save money on groceries is hard work. There are hundreds of different ways to do it, but if you really want to succeed, you’ve got to have a plan. Grocery Budget Makeover is the class that will help you put it all together into a system that works for your family. I learned so many techniques that have saved my family thousands of dollars. Get on the waiting list for this course so you don’t miss it the next time it’s available.
Stitch Fix – My absolute favorite way to shop. I have gotten so many cute clothes from Stitch Fix – clothes that I never would have picked out for myself. And, every time I wear them I get awesome compliments. I love that I can try them on at home, check to see what I have that will coordinate, and just ship back what I don’t want – for free. No dragging kids around in the dressing room – no bundling up to leave the house. I Love Stitch Fix! Give them a try – you just might love them too.
Kidpik – a personal shopping service for your girl from size 4-14. Each box comes with 3 head-to-toe Mix & match outfits. They give your girl a free gift, too, with every single box. There is no styling fee, so it’s completely free to try out. Use my link here and you’ll get $15 to spend. Free delivery and cancel anytime. And, best of all, these are totally affordable clothes.
Around the House
Roomba – Ok, honestly, I never would have purchased this! They are expensive! But, my oldest son was moving and didn’t want to put his in storage, so he has allowed me to “babysit” his Roomba. OMG, he is never going to get that thing back! It’s almost like having a maid, we set our sweet little Ruby Roomba (yes we named her, she’s like family now) to go and she cleans the hard floors and carpet while we sleep, work, or run errands. Now why don’t they just make a pot washer?
Kiwi Crate – I got 6-month memberships for Kiwi Crate, Doodle Crate and Tinker Crate. I absolutely love all of them. I think hands-down they make the perfect gift for kids. They come with all the supplies you need to make the different projects and my kids have loved each and every one of them. Each monthly box is educational, inspirational, and includes suggestions for learning extension. Please, check it out. You can even get $10 off your first-month subscription.
Grove Collaborative – It is so convenient to buy my cleaning products from Grove. They ship right to my house, which keep me out of Target where you know I’d blow another $100. With the VIP Membership (under $20) I get free shipping all year and every quarter they give me a full-size product for free. Plus, they will even price-match. Guys, this is totally worth checking out. Try them now and you’ll get $10 free to spend.
